He married Winnifred Alice Ann Allan 04 December 1924 in Mayfair, Saskatchewan, Canada, daughter of William Allan and Elizabeth Sayer. She was born 26 June 1901 in Chingford, Essex, England, and died 07 February 1968 in Kitimat General Hospital, Kitimat, British Columbia, Canada.
