Luella Norgart

Luella A. Norgart, 100, Cavalier, formerly of Chrystal, died Dec. 19, in Pembina County Memorial Nursing Home in Cavalier where she had lived the last seven years.

Services will be held at 10;30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec 23, in the Glasston United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today (Tuesday) with a 7 p.m. prayer service in Jensen Funeral Home in Cavalier, and an hour before the service.

Luella A. Littlejohn was born Dec. 9, 1887, in Lindsay, Ontario, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Littlejohn. She grew up there and moved to Chrystal in the late 1930s. She married Holdorf Norgart June 20, 1917, in Cavalier and they made their home at Chrystal. Holdorf died March 17, 1965. She lived in Cavalier and Grand Forks before moving into the nursing home.

Survivors include daughters Mable Moen, Grand Forks, Dorothy (Mrs. George) Morden and Bonnie (Mrs. Stanley) Ouhl, both of Cavalier; sons, Elmer, Perry, Iowa, Harold and Arnold, both of Jefferson, Iowa, Leonard, International Falls, Minn; 26 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren She was predeceased in death by a brother and four sisters.
