Dan is the youngest son of William and Minnie Sinclair of Browning. He was born February 18, 1913. He lived on the Albert Littlejohn place with his parents until 1918 when the family moved to the Fred Fornwald place, S.E, 1/4 20-5-5. This is where Dan later farmed on his own. He attended Yankee and Sinclair schools. He worked away from home for a few years and later helped his dad until his parents retired in 1943 and he took over the farm.
On December 28, 1943 Dan married Christine Leptich, eldest daughter of Anton and Mary Leptich of Maryland. She attended Sinclair school and attended church at Maryland.
Dan and Christine have seven children, four daughters and three sons.

On Tuesday, December 7th, 2004, Daniel Alexander Sinclair, late of Lampman, passed away in Estevan at the age of 91 years. Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, December 9th, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. from Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, Lampman. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 10th, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, Lampman, with Rev. Fr. Joachim Tyrtania the celebrant. Cremation will follow. Daniel was predeceased by his loving wife (Marian) "Christine "; his parents, William and Minnie; five brothers, Wilfred Littlejohn, and Archie, Joe, Bill and Fred Sinclair; and one sister, Alma Mitchell. He is survived by his three sons, Wes (Val) of Fort McMurray, AB, Les (Linda) of Wainwright, AB and Ed (Debbie) of Estevan, SK; four daughters, Doreen (Mike) Bilesky of Regina, SK, Delores (Dick) Trostem of Calgary, AB, Karen (Bryan) Hirsch of Estevan and Mary (Norbert) Wilkes of Regina, SK; 19 grandchildren, 27 greatgrandchildren, two sisters, Thelma Wark and Vera Hanley, as well as numerous other relatives. If relatives and friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of choice in memory of Daniel Sinclair. Funeral arrangements are in care of Boire Funeral Home, Estevan
