Lena Littlejohn

Lena Littlejohn was born in Minnesota 100 years ago. She has a Norweigian background but only speaks English.
Lena enjoyed her life as a homemaker. She had a total of fourteen children which kept her busy but also brought her great joy. She enjoyed spending her time with them.
Lena is a very social person and enjoys being involved with others. Her past interests include canning foods, crochet, knitting, and cooking.
Being Park Rose Care Center's most recent addition to those who have reached the century mark, we gladly honor her and celebrate the milestone of reaching 100 years of age. Congratulations Lena!

Lena Littlejohn

Heaven has another beautiful angel, our beloved mother Lena Littlejohn. Mother was born Nov. 12, 1897 and left us on Oct. 12, 1998. She was preceded in death by her husband and 5 children and is survived by children, Robert, Linda, Jean, Evelyn, Edwin, Donald, James, Alfred and Ernest; also many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mother enjoyed her family, flowers and doing her "fancy work". She took great delight in a good cup of hot coffee. Funeral services at 1 p.m. Fri., Oct. 16, 1998 in the Mt. View Garden Chapel. Visitation begins Thurs. Noon until 9 p.m. A special thanks to Dr. Eileen Toth and to Park Rose for the compassion and comfort they extended to a special mother. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home 584-0252.
